Performer Drop-Off & Pick-Up Location:
All performers will gather at the entrance of the LASALLE SIA Theatre (Basement 1), where our ushers will guide them to take the lift down to Basement 2, where the dressing room and backstage is.
When concert is over, our ushers will also guide the performers up from Basement 2 dressing room, to meet the parents back at the foyer of the SIA Theatre (Basement 1).

Overall Schedule For Performers
10.45am to 11am: Report for Warm Up/Rehearsal: (Optional)
All performers who like to warm up on stage and try the grand piano, do arrive by 11am.
Arrive at LASALLE SIA Theatre Foyer B1, and our ushers will guide you to B2 dressing room.
11am to 12pm: Warm-Up/Rehearsal (Optional):
Every performer has 45s-1min to walk up the stage and try on the piano/violin.
Warm up/Rehearsal is optional and this is the only timeslot for rehearsal.
12pm to 1pm: Lunch Break
Lunch is not provided. All performers are free to bring their own lunch, or have their lunch at food centres nearby, and report back at the dressing room by 1pm.
1pm: All 1st half performers report at dressing room
2pm: Concert start 1st half
3pm: All 2nd half performers report at dressing room
4pm: Prize Presentation & Phototaking On Stage
4.15pm: Concert resume 2nd half
6pm: Concert ends
Schedule For 1st/2nd Half Performers
Schedule for 1st half performers only
11am: Arrive at 11am if you would like to warm up or rehearse on stage.
OR
1pm: Arrive at 1pm at the dressing room to prepare for your performance.
2pm: 1st half of concert starts, and performers to remain in the dressing room.
4pm: Prize Presentation & Phototaking On Stage
After phototaking: Exit the dressing room. You may either enter the concert hall to watch the remainder of the performances or leave the venue.
4.15pm – 4.30pm: Parents to pick up their child at LASALLE SIA Theatre Foyer B1. Ushers will guide them up from Basement 2 dressing room.
Schedule for 2nd half performers only
11am: Arrive at 11am if you would like to warm up or rehearse on stage.
OR
3pm: Arrive at 3pm at the dressing room to prepare for your performance. (You can also enter the concert hall at 2pm to watch the first half performances, but please leave by 3pm for the dressing room)
4pm: Prize Presentation & Phototaking On Stage
After phototaking: Return to the dressing room to prepare for your performance.
After your performance: You may remain in the dressing room, watch the rest of the performances in the concert hall, or leave the venue.
6pm: All performers to leave dressing room.
What To Prepare
1. Bring your performance attire
Performers can arrive at the theatre with their performance attire on, or bring their performance attire to change in the dressing room.
Parents can assist to change their kids into the performance attire in the dressing room too.
2. There will be time allocated for lunch, 12pm to 1pm.
You can also bring some snacks along as you’ll be waiting at the backstage until your turn to perform.
3. Bring something to keep you/your child occupied while waiting at the backstage for his/her turn to perform.
4. Bring a jacket as the backstage may be cold.
5. You can bring your music score, and perform on stage with your score. Or perform by memory. Both are okay.
FAQ
1. What happens once I reach the Lasalle SIA Theatre Foyer at 10.45am?
We have an usher stationed at the Foyer to receive the performers (kids and adults). The usher will then guide the performers to the dressing room at B2 to put their belongings and proceed to warm up before the concert starts.
Do arrive by 11am if you want to warm up on stage. Otherwise, you can report at later timing (see above for 1st half and 2nd half performers schedule)
2. Do performers have time to warm up before the performance?
Yes. 11am – 12pm is the only allocated warm up time on stage. Every performer has 45s-1min to walk up the stage and try on the piano/violin. Warm up is optional. If you’re keen to do the warm up on stage, do arrive by 11am.
3. What happens when the concert starts?
Our Backstage manager will get all performers ready in their performance sequence and prepare to enter the stage to perform. All 1st half performers must be at backstage at 1pm, while 2nd half performers must be at backstage at 3pm.
4. What happens after a performer has completed his/her performance?
For 1st half performers, once the performance has ended, the performer will return back to the Backstage area. He/she will remain in the Backstage/dressing room until the Intermission where all performers (1st & 2nd half performers) will proceed to the stage for prize presentation and photo taking.
After prize presentation and phototaking is completed, 1st half performers who have performed will proceed to dressing room to collect their belongings and leave from B2 to Level B1. They can decide to enter the concert hall to watch remaining of the performances, or leave the venue.
2nd half performers to resume performance after the stage is cleared. 2nd half performers who has performed can leave the dressing room, to enter the hall to watch remaining of the performances, or leave the venue.
Piano accompanists for violinists can leave the dressing room right after the performance ends. Accompanist are not required for prize presentation.
5. Will there be a pedal extender?
Yes, pedal extender is available. The stage usher will fix the pedal extender for you before you start your performance.
6. Do you have a music stand?
Yes, we have music stands.
7. I’ll be playing duet on the piano. Is there a longer bench?
Yes, we have longer bench for duet playing.
8. Can I perform with scores?
Yes, you can decide to perform with or without scores.
